The bedrooms are situated on the first floor, and the wetroom / WC is on the ground floor – this arrangement may be unsuitable for some guests.

Outside offers a generous lawned and fenced garden with a woodland backdrop and extensive views out over the surrounding countryside, garden seating has been provided to sit and enjoy the garden and the surrounding landscape.

We have added an outdoor drying area for wet weather clothing & boots, this area also doubles up as a undercover secure bike storage area and a quiet feeding zone for the wildlife.

Dusk till dawn lighting is provided for wildlife watching from the comfort of the lounge.

The bird feeders encourage the extensive birdlife the area has to offer.

A wildlife logbook has been placed in the cottage to record both garden and local area sightings.

Bird food and food for the pine martins, foxes and badgers can be purchased in Inverness, however as that is some distance we recommend bringing some.

Our own supply of bird and mammal food is located in bins in the outdoor drying area which we are happy for guests to use while stocks last, but we do appreciate it being replenished.

A Pine Marten nest box with internal viewing camera has been added to the garden, the camera can be accessed by a mobile phone app.

Parking is strictly limited to two cars through the double gates to the right at the top of the drive directly outside the front of the cottage.

The driveway is owned by Old Brewery next door and we only have access rights. Keeping the gate closed at all times keeps the sheep and wild boar out. The large parking area at the rear of the cottage is privately owned by The Old Brewery and NOT for guest use.
